In this workshop, students learn the process of illustrating a book, from basic writing, layout, and sketching to the final drawing and binding process. Young artists sketch an entire short story and complete 3-5 illustrations using the media of their choice. Colored pencils, watercolor, pen and ink, and marker techniques are demonstrated and practiced through skill building exercises.
