Using a variety of materials and techniques, young artists create a series of puppets, including finger, sock, hand, and simple rod construction. Students gather inspiration for their puppets' characteristics from popular children's books, poems, and music. Individual and collaborative mixed media theaters set the stage for everyone's puppets to perform at PenArt and home.
