INSTRUCTOR
As an educator, Shane Walsh helps students connect to the fact that making art is fun and exciting. In his own practice, he makes abstract paintings that are visually thrilling, yet encourage the viewer to think more deeply about what they are seeing. Shane is represented by Asya Geisberg Gallery (NY) and The Alice Wilds (WI). When not in the studio, he can be found at the beach; swimming as much as Wisconsin’s weather permits. Shane holds an MFA from the University of Washington and teaches at UW-Milwaukee.
