Concept
No torch, no tank, no problem! You don't need heat to make hot, or should we say cool chains. In this one-day workshop, learn the classic techniques of cold connection chain making and explore methods for interpreting and making them your own. For those with torches at home, all ideas shared translate into soldered chain; giving you even more possibilities!
Experience
The workshop features demonstrations and individualized feedback with an emphasis on hands-on working time. Beginning chain makers acquire knowledge and develop their skills, while more advanced jewelers push the boundaries of their fabrication vocabulary to create chains that carry their unique design aesthetic throughout each piece. Leave this workshop with loads of samples and the start of a full chain if desired.
Skill Level
All levels welcome.
